enable csu loops (1) yes (2) no >If (1) is chosen to represent the choice YES, the CSU will respond to standard loopup and loopdown codes. These may be sent by the carrier (service provider/phone company) or they might be sent from a CSU at the far end of a point to point circuit.
If (2) is entered to represent a choice of NO, the CSU will ignore loop codes. It is not generally recommended to choose NO, as this may cause the CSU to appear to TPC (The Phone Company) to be defective.
