It shows Equipment side alarm conditions on the left, between the two "eq" labels. Any alarms shown here indicate a problem with the signal coming to the CSU from the local DSX-1 equipment, or the lack of such a signal.
The word PULSES does not indicate an alarm.
If the NCC card is in CSU Mode or Drop & Insert mode the information on the left in the EQ area relates to the DSX-1 Equipment interface on the CIM card behind the NCC. If the SCC is in Mux mode then the EQ area will usually indicate pulses even though no DSX-1 equipment is being used.
