If (N) is entered to represent a choice of NO, the CSU will not reset any alarm.
Reset Alarm is typically used to clear out alarms just after the installation or a service event. Normally the STAT led on the front of an NCC or TAC card will be out. The STAT led lights red when an alarm occurs and remains lit red until the alarm has cleared and no further alarms occur for a 15 minute period. "Z) Reset alarm" can be used to hasten the extinguishing of the STAT led. In most cases the user will also need to reset the registers under the Performance menu, by using the Reset Registers command.
