The letter M on the left side of the shelf/slot map indicates a
Multi-Line shelf.
Due to a design limitation in the Quint Line shelf, it will also appear as a
Multi-Line shelf.
When a Dual-Line shelf is present in a node, a "D" will appear in place of the "M"
in this illustration.
