Verilink designed its compact and feature-rich T1 Access Router to enable small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprises with multiple branch locations to take advantage of the lower cost of T1 connections. This business-class router offers the most cost-effective solution for the remote access and connectivity needs of the branch office using Frame Relay or point-to-point circuits. Installed on the customer’s premises, this powerful, full-featured router with an integrated CSU/DSU enables high-speed Internet access and site-to-site communications. With T1 access, SMBs and enterprise branch offices can optimize operations and increase productivity.

The T1 Access Router boasts management features usually found only in more expensive models. Optimized for secure, managed T1 access, it supports IP over Frame Relay or PPP and leased-line T1 applications. as well as advanced features such as Network Address Translation, Port Address Translation, and a DHCP client and server. The T1 Access Router connects to LANs through an autosensing 10/100BaseT Ethernet port and is equipped with an RS-232 console port for local management.

The T1 Access Router is easy to install and set up, simple to operate, and packs its robust feature set into a compact, single rack unit enclosure.
