S Lite E1 Data Loopback Device

The S Lite is a serial data loop-back devise designed for E1 network services. With the ability to perform remote loops, the S Lite provides the troubleshooting capability that E1 NTUs and CSU/DSUs lack. Physically located between a Network Service Provider’s CSU/DSU and end-user-owned DTE equipment, the S Lite detects standard V.54 loop commands from remote sites and initiates loop tests, or it can be put into test via dip switch settings.
