WANsuite 6430

The WANsuite® 6430 WAN Access Device/IP Router utilize the G.shdsl (referred to as SHDSL) standard into the ATM access space. Each unit is equipped with a network port, a 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface, and a supervisory port. The WANsuite 6430 comes equipped with a serial port that can be used to connect the unit to an existing external router/bridge using PPP/HDLC protocol. The IP Gateway feature enables IP packet routing throughout the LAN/WAN network architecture using a static routing configuration or dynamic routing protocols, substantially reducing the need to purchase costly routers. Furthermore, the 6430 enables network managers to monitor end-to-end network performance, isolate performance problems, determine appropriate bandwidth needs, and monitor network trends to assist in future capacity planning initiatives and controlling expenses and costs. With Verilink’s innovative WANsight™ technology, remote Web-based access for all management diagnostics and reporting is simplified and cost-effective.
